Telegram: Anonymous admins, channel comments and search filters

Almost every month, Telegram comes up with updates with new features. For this September 2020, there are some pretty interesting functions, especially for administrators and channels.

Anonymous administrators on the channels

Now if you have a Telegram channel then you can put yourself as an anonymous administrator. Channel administrators, with many subscribers, are often inundated with messages and spam. This feature allows you to be completely invisible and the administrator will simply post with the name of the channel. And every administrator can do the same.

Comments on channel

External bots already made it possible to do this, but this time the comments appear natively on the Telegram channels. Previously, we could already associate a group with a channel and now the comments will redirect to the group. Telegram channels and groups are like Facebook’s. A channel is more of an official voice where members cannot post while the group is open to everyone.

Improved search filters

Now you can search for content by type such as text, photos or videos. In addition, you can also specify the search date which is useful if you want to search in a very lively group that has thousands of content. For September 2020, these Telegram novelties are pragmatic by improving existing tools. And we have new animated stickers, usual in each version, which are on the menu.

You just need to update Telegram to the latest version to benefit from these new features.
